Little trip to Costa...

One of my favourite things to do is sit in coffee shops with a hot chocolate and have a catch-up with friends, which is exactly what I did! I absolutely love the hot chocolates from Costa as an occasional treat. I try to order the 'skinny' version so I don't feel quite as guilty ;) but it's nice to indulge once in a while.

I think Costa is defiantly my fave coffee shop... do you have one?

GEEK

So 'GEEK' t-shirts seem to be in all the high-street stores at the moment and at first I hated them... but they have grown on me and I think that paired with the right outfit they can look quite cool. So I had a look around to see what shops are selling these tops and at what prices.

I first saw these tops in Topshop and thought they were kinda cool but also rather overpriced and I didn't think it was worth spending loads on a t-shirt that I wouldn't wear out much. So I ended up buying a black 'geek' t-shirt from Internacionale for £9.99 and it's actually really good quality and comfortable.

I think this top looks good tucked into high-waisted skirts and shorts. They are kinda going out of fashion as so many places are now selling them, but I think they still look cool ;)

Beauty Crush: Blair Waldorf

If you are anything like me you will have a huge girl crush on Blair Waldorf from the TV show 'Gossip Girl' which has now come to an end (noooo!). So to cheer myself up I thought I would try to re-create some of Blair's signature looks just in time for Spring!

Blair's look always includes a headband that perfectly matches her outfit. I browsed the web and found a number of different headbands that could easily be incorporated into everyday wear for that 'blair waldorf' vibe.

I love these headbands and they would look great with curled hair and natural, rosy makeup. 

To get Blair's gorgeous glow I would recommend using a highlighter on your cheekbones and under your eyebrows for a subtle shimmer. 

Before you step out the door, throw on a bright coat and some cute heels and you're done!
